DATE CHANGED TO APRIL 4! - for Schuss Boomer Downhill

Filed under: Hudson Bay Mountain — bmyers @ 6:33 am

WE HAVE HAD TO CHANGE THE DATE TO  APRIL 4 FROM MARCH 28.  The commitee sincerly apolgizes for any hassles this may  cause.    The reason that we have to change the date is that safety netting is not available on March 28.   The netting belongs to the North Zone and they are holding Team Champs in Prince George on that date.

This issue has nothing to do with Hudson Bay Mountain Resort as the date was set with them and  the Schuss Boomer Commitee last September.   In 25 years we have nver had a conflict with a zone race. We have contacted Whitehorse Ski Club and BC Alpine trying to find another source of netting, but all netting is being used that weekend.

This is a one day event, combining the fun race and the need for speed. Our event remains both a fun event and a serious event for those who feel the “Need for Speed”. Come on out and challenge your spouse, your friends or yourself and have a fun weekend of skiing and general merriment and foolishness at Hudson Bay Mountain Resort  now on April 4, 2009.

Ski Report from Reg

Filed under: Hudson Bay Mountain — Sandra @ 4:32 pm

Reg Collingwood just stopped by my office to brag about the ski day he just had.   From the perma grinned lips came these words…. POOF…POOF….POOF……apparently,  it was one of his best days this year, and he has lots in.  The  6 inches or so of new snow is blowing in on the chair side and building up in lots of great places.   Visibilty was good and the temps warm.   A  quote only Reg could come up with ” Ski the Poof  “,…… somehow, I don’t think the phrase will take the  ski world by storm…..

Pre-Sales and Deposits

Filed under: Hudson Bay Mountain Estates — Sandra @ 9:26 am

There seems to be a bit of confusion in the general public about how purchasing a lot at Hudson Bay Mountain Estates works.   The official  and legal way to describe it is that the properties are being Pre-sold by way of the Disclosure Statement.   The  Disclosure lays down the details of the offering for sale and is filed with the BC Government.   Any changes to the details of the Disclosure  must also be filed with the BC Gov’t,  if  that happens a Buyer must be  offered a right of rescission on the Purchase.    The Purchase contract clearly states that you are exchanging X amount of dollars for a fully serviced lot as described in the Disclosure.  If the Seller does not perform as per the contract you get your deposit money back plus interest. Your deposit money is held in “Trust” as per the ” Real Estate Development Marketing Act”, and is completley secure.

You can pick up a copy of the Disclosure Statement at  the Presentation Centre at the Hudson Bay Moutiain  Resort office on Railway, at the RE/MAX Bulkely Valley office or follow this link to the Online Brochure, I hope this explanation helps, please contact me anytime if you have questions.

Over and out,
